As a Kitchen Hand, you will be essential in delivering timely and efficient catering and cleaning services. Your role will include preparing and serving meals, assisting with laundry duties and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for our clients. If you enjoy teamwork and have a knack for multitasking, we want to hear from you!

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist with meal preparation and service, including breakfasts, soups, and quick meals.
  • Support laundry operations, including sorting, washing, and delivering clean items.
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a tidy environment.
  • Engage with clients to assist with menu selections and dietary needs.
  • Carry out minor sewing repairs and high cleaning duties as required.

Essential Criteria

  • Limited experience in providing a catering service required.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and relate to staff at all levels.
  • Flexible approach to work and rostering.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with respect for diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and perform under general direction.
  • Commitment to confidentiality and discretion in all tasks.
