Are you looking for an opportunity to provide high-quality administrative support in a busy healthcare environment? We’re seeking a dedicated and organised Administration Officer to join our team at Port Broughton District Hospital. If you have a passion for helping others, maintaining confidentiality, and working in a fast-paced setting, this is the role for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the hospital switchboard and reception area with professionalism and efficiency.
- Create, store, and maintain accurate resident records in line with health service guidelines.
- Perform data entry into Chiron and Working Systems with high attention to detail.
- Develop and maintain spreadsheets, documents, and reports using Microsoft Office.
- Assist with meeting minute-taking and document preparation.
- Support the Accreditation process and ensure compliance with necessary standards.
- Provide exceptional administrative support to staff, visitors, and clients.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a variety of stakeholders.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with integrity.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and manage a high workload.
- Experience in office administration and proficient use of Microsoft Office software.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour, willing to assist with customer inquiries.
