We're looking for a dedicated Quality Manager to oversee the delivery of multidisciplinary client care across the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN). About the Role:

As the Quality Manager , you'll use your expertise to coordinate and oversee the implementation of the RMCLHN Quality Management Plan. You'll work closely with the Operational Leadership Team and manage a diverse, multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. Your leadership will ensure compliance with clinical governance standards, business parameters, and program reporting, all while driving the integration of services with metropolitan and regional hospitals to provide coordinated care to clients.

You will be responsible for overseeing clinical governance systems, monitoring compliance with performance standards, and managing quality improvement processes. Reporting directly to the Director of Quality and Safety, you will contribute to the sustainable development of improvement strategies and ensure compliance with national, state, and local health standards.

What We're Looking For:

RN/M3

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds or is eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
  • Registered Nurse and or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing and/or midwifery practice in accordance with the relevant standards
  • Experience in management and leadership roles
  • Experience in the supervision of students, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses and or midwives.
  • Experience in the use of computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite.

AHP3

  • Must hold a recognised qualification within a recognized Allied Health profession and be eligible for (full) membership of the relevant Professional Association.

ASO6

  • Proven experience leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies, policies, and systems in collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Expertise in complex data analysis, interpretation, and reporting to committees, executives, and a Governing Board.
  • Skilled in leading, managing, and developing staff to foster collaboration, teamwork, and shared responsibility for results.
  • Demonstrated experience in human resources management.

  • DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
  • National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
  • Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category B
