$30 - $32 per hour + Super (depending on experience)

Padua College is an independent Catholic boys' day school for Years 5-12, conducted by the Franciscan Friars, with an enrolment of over 1,500 students. As the college continues to grow, we are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our Food Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a small, supportive team that ensures the smooth operation of our catering services for both students and staff.
The role involves preparing and assembling a variety of simple food items, efficiently handling customer transactions through our point-of-sale system and assisting with inventory management as required.
Key Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the food services team, including catering requests.
- Assisting the Catering Convener with the day-to-day operations of the tuckshop including daily opening and closing procedures.
- Preparing and assembling simple food items, as supervised by the Catering Convener.
- Support the catering team during events, which may include setting up, serving food, and cleaning up afterwards

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:
- Previous experience within in a similar role.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
