The Opportunity

We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Reporting Analyst. In this role you will:
  • Develop, produce and maintain high quality reports to assist staff and stakeholders with planning, management and evaluation of Legal Services' services.
  • Develop and maintain reports to integrate and embed within Legal Services' systems.
  • Liaise with staff and stakeholders at all levels within Legal Services in order to determine the reporting requirements.
  • Manage datasets and the data warehouse, ensuring they are well maintained and easy to use.
  • Participate in the testing of application enhancements and fixes to ensure the integrity of data.
  • Continuously improve the quality and efficiency of reporting to the business.

Total Indicative Remuneration Package

$110,892 - $117,233 per annum including salary, superannuation and leave loading.

As a not-for-profit organisation, the Legal Services Commission is able to offer its employees attractive salary sacrifice arrangements, including up to $15,900 pre-tax Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year for general living expenses.

Term of Employment

Ongoing contract available at the ASO6 classification level.

What You Need for Success

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in a report writing role showing an understanding of business reporting requirements and the correlating technology
  • Proven experience analysing data as producing reports.
  • A systematic and analytical approach to problem solving combined with a proven ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated current knowledge of:
    • SQL & SQL reporting tools such as Microsoft Reporting Services, BI Query and Crystal Reports.
    • Custom report writing and Integrating reports into secondary applications.
    • Writing queries for MS SQL Server.
