Southport Sharks boasts a diverse range of food and beverage outlets, multi-purpose Events Centre with capacity for 1000 people, gaming room, kids' zone Health and Fitness Centre and a 120 room Mantra Hotel which includes a breath-taking rooftop bar.
We are seeking applications for a vibrant Guest Service Agent with exceptional customer service skills to join our Front Desk team within the Club.
About the Role...
- Welcoming all members and guests
- Promote the benefit of membership and the club loyalty program to non-members
- Accurately process Club memberships
- Answering all incoming phone calls, including redirection, answering queries and accepting dining bookings as required
- Provide prompt, friendly, customer focused service to patrons purchasing take-away beverage and mini-mart items available at Fins Cellar
About You…
You will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, willingness to build long-term relationships with our members and will have impeccable grooming, presentation and communication skills.
To be successful in this role you would need to possess the following:
- Experience in a Reception and/or Front Office environment is essential
- Exceptional presentation and grooming
- Ability to communicate with a variety of people
- Knowledge of club facilities, services, promotional activities and membership procedures
- Cash handling procedures
- Experience in operating a PABX telephone system
- Familiarity with Ticketmaster sales operation is an advantage
- Strong problem solving abilities
- Computer literacy with experience using Microsoft Office products
The successful applicant must be available to work across the week with various shifts ranging between the hours of 7.00am and 1.00am.
