Description
Position Overview
As an Electrician (Compressors/Generators), you'll play a pivotal role in the testing, fault finding, repairing/maintenance of compressors and generators.
Key responsibilities include:
- Inspect and run-test new electric-powered air compressors - primarily 415V 3-phase - and carry out any necessary modifications or rectifications during predelivery at our premises prior to dispatch.

Understanding of VSD and electrical controllers
- Provide email or phone support to electricians, technicians, or end users with queries about the electrical installation, operation, maintenance, repair or warranty of their air compressors or portable generators out in the field.
- Assess at least the electrical component of any repair or warranty work that may be required for goods returned to our warehouse for evaluation and subsequently carry out the approved jobs.
- Participate in the development of new electrical products and continuous improvement of those already in production.
- Contribute to the monitoring and compliance of the electrical assets in our office and warehouse, and the safe use thereof by all staff.
Profile
Qualifications and Experience
- Electrical trade qualification is a must
- Queensland Electrical Licence as an Electrical Mechanic or Electrical Fitter
- Mechanical skills and knowledge would be advantageous
- Experience with VSD's and electronic controllers advantageous
- Comfortable dealing with clients technical inquiries via email and phone
Job Offer
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary: $100,000 - $110,000 per annum.
- Superannuation contribution of 11.5%.

- Day shift - Monday to Friday role with an early finish on Fridays.
