As a membership organisation with over 10,000 members, they are our number one priority. Working within a supportive team of 3, you will be a trusted advisor, providing accurate and timely advice predominantly over the phone or via email.
You will be supported by our Senior Advisor and enjoy a variety of responsibilities. On any given day your new role may see you:
- Providing accurate and timely advice on award interpretation, wages and superannuation.
- Assisting and coaching members with performance management and employment termination processes.
- Drafting and developing employment contracts.
- Supporting the development and promotion of products and services available to members.
If you’re looking to take that next step in your and are keen to join the team, you’ll need:
- Qualifications in Human Resources, Workplace Relations or Law.
- A well-developed understanding of our National Workplace Relations Framework, in particular Modern Awards.
- Understanding of termination and performance management processes with the ability to guide and coach others.
- An ability to deliver and draft advice in a manner that is practical and easy to understand.
While not essential, prior experience in the construction industry would be highly regarded.
