An exciting opportunity exists to join our Residential Leadership Team as the Hotel Services Operations Manager.

Based at our North Adelaide Corporate Office, as our Hotel Services Operations Manager, you will use adaptive leadership skills, business acumen and communication to enable our Hotel Services staff to deliver quality services and create an environment which exceeds our customer’s expectations across food services, cleaning and laundry operations.

This role will deliver on the priorities within the Residential Services Business Plan as led by the Executive Manager Residential Services.

You’ll also make an impact by:

  • Providing leadership to hotel services teams to achieve commercial, quality and stakeholder KPI’s.
  • Ensuring functional systems are in place to meet legislative and compliance standards across Hotel Services including
  • Partnering with clinical and lifestyles staff to operationalise and embed new products and services into care homes.
  • Standardising operations and implement new services, innovation and efficiencies across hotel services.
  • Supporting the Hotel Services Site Managers in planning, monitoring and managing the financial, material and human resources in accordance with budget parameters and quality standards.

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Extensive experience in a general management role where you have held accountability for breadth of functions across the organisation (preferably services, hospitality, or retail industry).
  • Demonstrated strong and effective leadership skills, including the ability to support, motivate, effectively manage, and communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective and engaged teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment and experience in the delivery of high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Experience working collaboratively with senior sector and functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated high level of initiative and judgement in exploring cross-service opportunities and in maximising the effective use of existing resources.
  • Demonstrated Strong financial and analytical skills in monitoring budgets and allocating appropriate resources to ensure a sustainable and profitable business.
  • Experience in presenting solutions and continuous improvement initiatives to client representatives and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated strong organisational capability with experience in the effective management of competing priorities.
  • Sound knowledge and experience in food safety legislation.
  • Hold a valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one.
  • Valid Drivers license and ability to travel locally and regionally.
