The Role

Adbri is seeking a dynamic Quality Business Partner to provide support to all Western Australian Operations around Quality Control systems, raw material quality, final product data analysis and process optimisation.

Responsibilities

  • Quality Control Support: Overseeing raw material and final product quality, including testing, inspection, and sampling.
  • Process Monitoring: Analysing trends in data to identify areas for improvement or non-conformance and working with Quality production personnel to resolve issues.
  • Collaboration: Partnering with various operational teams to ensure quality is maintained during changes or trials.
  • Leadership: Leading quality meetings for specific locations (Munster, Kwinana, and Dongara), ensuring alignment on quality initiatives.
  • Technical Expertise: Using resources like the BH laboratory to support investigations and trials.

What you will need to succeed

  • Engineering/Industrial Chemistry degree, or Advanced Analytical Chemistry preferred, this role would suit a graduate.
  • Analytical with the ability to interpret trends in data and report on opportunities for improvement and non-conformances.
  • Good communication skills, able to discuss data trends with all relevant production personnel. Discuss and agree on actions arising from production or product non-conformances.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to recognise and raise the financial impacts of product-related issues.
