Description
As an Electrical Fitter, you'll play a vital role in assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems to ensure peak performance and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems, machinery, and equipment
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Operate in assembly lines or dedicated electrical workshops
- Inspect and test systems for functionality and compliance
- Document work, report issues, and suggest improvements
- Adhere to safety protocols and use protective equipment
- Utilize company systems for work orders and efficiency enhancements
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot electrical issues
Profile
To be eligible for the role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- Relevant qualifications in electrical fitting or electrotechnology
- Valid electrical licence (registered to perform work in WA)
- Proven experience in electrical fitting, assembly, and installation.
- Strong ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical instructions.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and processes.
