The Opportunity

Working closely with your fellow Educators and Centre Manager, you will enjoy;
  • Be in our Toddler room as a lead!
  • Developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the centre community.
  • Developing and implementing an innovative early learning program reflective of current early years thinking and practice.
  • Documenting and sharing with families in their children's learning and development.
  • Actively contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Guardian Curriculum.
  • Professional learning and development programs, career pathways, and a truly collaborative and inclusive learning environment.
To be considered, must have:
  • A completed Diploma in Children's Services (or working towards it) or Tertiary level qualification.
  • Prior experience in long day-care as a lead Educator
  • Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF, EYLF and the 11-child safe standards.
  • Current Working with Children's Check - employee card (WWCC for VIC state)

Guardian Childcare & Education Essendon is located near Strathmore, Brunswick West, Maribyrnong and Niddrie; making it a great option for local families wanting high-quality childcare close to home or on the way to the CBD for work. Our light-filled and spacious long day care Centre in Essendon has a resident pet turtle and guinea pigs, a water pump, a fort, vegetable gardens, and a range of age-specific studios and spaces.
