The role
Crown is the ultimate destination for dining experiences, with a vast array of casual offerings to more premium settings. We have something to suit everyone’s tastes.

We’re currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Chef to join the Teak Room. Preparing a variety of a la carte dishes to Crown's general public as well as VIP gaming cliental.

In this role, you’ll provide joyful experiences through your genuine care for guests. As well as:

  • Assist the team in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen including prep work and service.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP.
  • Your ability to work within a dynamic team environment along with your strong planning and organisational skills.


About you
You’ll bring the following:

  • Previous experience working within a fast paced, high-volume a la carte kitchen setting. Previous Wok experience would be advantageous.
  • Willingness to work around a 24/7 rotating roster including weekends, late nights and public holidays.
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent required.
