DXC Technology (NYSE:DXC) - where brilliant people embrace change and seize opportunities to advance their careers and amplify customer success.As the SAP Finance Principal Consultant, you’ll provide business consulting services to clients in the discipline of SAP S/4HANA Finance public and private cloud with an understanding of how the integration to other functional domains work. As such you will design, drive and deliver your own workshops with or without the support of team members reporting into you.
You’ll advise clients on the preferred solutions responding to their requirements. You may be required to support sales processes from an architecture, demonstration or write-up perspective but mostly you’ll be delivering and serving as a role model to our more junior consultants. You’ll need hands on experience and be comfortable designing and configuring solutions in SAP S/4HANA Finance for our clients.
Essential Job Functions
- Gathers business requirements; coordinates and participates in development activities and support the testing and implementation of package-based application software.
- Understand licensing implications of SAP products.
- Builds expertise in interface and data conversion requirements, capabilities and limitations, and setup and configuration issues associated with product modules in specialty area(s).
- Understands the purpose, roles and activities related to a solution and participates in applying this technique to facilitate application design and implementation.
- Leads a team of 5-8 resources (company, client and third-party resources), in the area of expertise, to conclusion of a project phase.
- Maintains conceptual understanding of enterprise software package solutions and related implementation issues from a technical perspective.
- Interacts with confidence and ease when interacting with middle- and senior-level managers (client and company); uses complex strategies like indirect influence to build consensus and support.
- Assists sales staff in qualifying leads and generating proposals.
- Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
- Communicates in formal presentation settings including proposal orals, client workshops and regional internal events; develops proposal sections, methodology work products and formal written deliverables covering area(s) of expertise.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and Information Technology
- Ten or more years of consulting experience
- Five years of additional relevant experience in one or more business or industry specialty areas
- Experience working with company, client, and/or equivalent vendor-mandated methodology
- Current SAP S/4HANA Certifications
- Deep functional experience of SAP S/4HANA Financials and Controlling in the following functional areas:
- Finance GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets
- Profit Centre and Cost Centre Accounting
- Project Accounting
- Product Costing
- Profitability analysis
- Treasury Management
- Group Reporting
- SAC Planning
- Joint Venture Accounting
- S4 Migrations
- Public Cloud Implementations
