About Us

As its core business, the IVET Group provides training and assessment resources and aspiring services to Secondary Schools delivering VET programs within the school environment. Operating nationally, IVET provides these services to more schools and students than any other provider in the Country.

About the role

SROs are responsible for i) the growth and management of school relationships, ii) the oversight of the engagement of VET in Schools solutions, and iii) selling additional IVET Group products and services, including but not limited to, TAE solutions, Teacher Professional Development, First Aid Training, and Non-Accredited Training (inyourskin and Evolve Education solutions) for both Teachers and Students.

The SRO is the key contact and owner of the relationship for the schools in their allocated portfolio, including new schools.

We recognise the importance of accommodating diverse work arrangements and therefore open to candidates who may not be able to fulfil the responsibilities of this role on a full time basis.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop an individual sales and account management plan that leads to portfolio growth.
  • Ensure clarity exists on overall portfolio target numbers and expected results.
  • Cross sell IVET products and services to new and existing schools, both in-person and remotely.
  • Participate in IVET’s marketing strategy by sending out and following up on targeted communications during planned campaigns.
  • Ensure schools are set up on the IVET Portal as per IVET’s school onboarding processes.
  • Actively monitor and support all schools undertaking programs with IVET.
  • Regularly review progress reports and exception reporting and initiate contact with schools to resolve identified issues.
  • Work directly with school staff in relation to any compliance issues identified through IVET’s quality assurance measures and/or monitoring activity.
  • Ensure schools can satisfy the facilities, equipment, and trainer & assessor requirements for a Third-Party Contract with IVET before advancing any application or commitment to work with the school.

About You

The successful applicant will ideally have:

  • High-level business development and account management skills
  • An understanding of Secondary Schools, particularly Senior Secondary Schooling
  • An understanding of the VET Quality Framework and RTO compliance
  • Demonstrated commitment to the implementation of continuous improvement strategies
  • Experience with Learning Management System(s)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong drive and ability to work autonomously when required
  • Excellent prioritisation and time management skills.
  • Valid drivers license and current Working with Children Check card.
