About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead and expand the Zinfra fibre services team based out of the Dandenong depot. In this key role, you will apply your leadership expertise to foster strong relationships and drive the continued growth and success of our fibre services.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Managing personnel in accordance with Zinfra policies, ensuring only personnel with appropriate skills and qualifications are employees/ assigned to carry out required tasks
  • Provide guidance to ensure safe and timely technical advice on matters related to fibre optic, coaxial, and data cable installations and removals line with client expectations and legislative requirements.
  • Ensuring delivery team captures and reports all relevant data from the field
  • Managing and motivate direct reports and indirect reports to ensure all work is delivered to the specified scope, time frame, allocated budget and quality
  • Ensuring that resource capability, skills sets and volume are able to service the forecasted work in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensuring adequate management of internal resources, subcontractors and suppliers utilising Zinfra’s processes and procedures
  • Ensuring the delivery is programmed efficiently to meet or exceed Zinfra and customer requirements

About you:

  • Proven ability to drive a safety culture and implement improved safety processes, systems & programs to ensure the effective delivery of work
  • Knowledge of Victorian Electrical Distribution Networks and VESI requirements
  • Experience in telecommunications or the power industry, with expertise in fibre optic network installation and maintenance
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to develop and maintain strong client relationships
  • Demonstrated competency in utilisation of resources and match the capability and capacity of the workforce and physical resources for the delivery of issued work.

· Experience in planning and strategy development

· Proven experience managing field teams
