This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a reputable organization known for its commitment to excellence and innovation within the financial services industry.Role Overview: As a Management Accountant specializing in Financial Control, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information and reports. You will be responsible for overseeing various financial control activities, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making, and maintaining robust financial processes and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis and insights to senior management.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis to support business performance reviews, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Financial Control: Prepare balance sheet accounts and reconciliations.
Assist in the monitoring of liquidity and cashflow analysis.. - Process Improvement: Identify and drive process improvements within the financial control function to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, providing financial insights and support for various business initiatives.
- Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, policies, and procedures, and support internal and external audit processes.
- CA/CPA studying or qualified
- Proven experience in financial control, management accounting, or similar roles within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
