Cyber Security Manager

Description:

• Develop and implement a strategic, long-term cyber security strategy to promote secure and efficient systems.
• Respond to incidents, establish appropriate standards and controls, manage security technologies, and direct the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures.
• Ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans are in place and tested.
• Review and approve security policies, controls and cyber incident response planning.
• Approve the purchase of security products and services.
• Ensure compliance with the changing laws and applicable regulations.
• Plan, research and design robust security architectures for any IT project.
• Coordinate information security awareness and training programs.

Requirements:

A successful Cyber Security Manager should have:

• Experience in developing, maintaining and promoting Cyber Security framework, enhance security policies and implement strategies
• Experienced in implementing Cyber Security controls and experience with Essential Eight framework
• Excellent knowledge of technology environments, including telecommunications, network protocols, and security infrastructure.
• Experience in managing cyber security vulnerabilities and incident management
• Knowledge in cloud security, security networks and security design is a nice to have
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staff.
• CISSP Qualification would be an added advantage
