About The Opportunity
We are seeking a Supervisor to join our Open Space/Grounds Maintenance team in South Brisbane.
In this role, you will lead a dedicated team to deliver exceptional open space maintenance services to a new client. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the site-based team and fostering strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong, positive relationships with clients.
- Lead and supervise a team of horticultural workers, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Coordinate daily work schedules and allocate tasks to team members based on their skills and experience.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, encouraging open communication and teamwork.
- Ensure the safety and compliance of all team members on-site.
- Operate a range of commercial out-front, wide area, and zero-turn mowers, as well as other small plant equipment.
- Perform weed and pest control through spraying and manual weeding.
- Undertake all horticultural activities, including formative pruning and hedging of trees and shrubs.
- Implement mulching and planting programs.
- Use commercial small plant horticultural equipment including brush Cutters, blowers and hedgers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have experience managing site-based teams with a background in horticulture and be driven to deliver exceptional results. Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
- First-class stakeholder engagement and customer service skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft suite.
- Provide care and empathy to our site-based teams.
- A strong commitment to the safety of yourself and others .
