About the Opportunity
To support Tanuki’s expanding operations and product portfolio, we are looking for an agribusiness sales professional who thrives on winning new business, building strong customer relationships and looking for the next opportunity. This role will encompass developing our broadacre business in NSW and QLD and require extensive travel to meet with existing and potential customers and participate in industry events.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and growing broadacre sales in NSW and QLD
- Upholding Tanuki’s purpose to provide quality products to our customers efficiently, responsibly and cost-effectively
- Building and managing relationships with customers
- Forecasting and developing and implementing sales plans
- Keeping up-to-date with competitor activities, market trends and industry news
- Working closely with the marketing team on marketing programs and activities
- Representing Tanuki at industry events and conferences
- Using your insights from the field to identify new business opportunities
About You
- Strong sales track record, preferably in the broadacre industry
- A bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Environmental Science (desirable)
- A self-starter who is happy to work remotely
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Well organised with high levels of professionalism and integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and customer database and forecasting tools
- Ability to travel frequently, both within the territory and to Tanuki’s sites
- Clean, current drivers’ licence
