The Position
We are seeking an experienced candidate to lead our CSD team. This role is responsible for the allocation of duties to the Sterilisation Technicians and the coordination of work practices.
Day to day tasks involved in this role include (but not limited to):
- Assist in the day to day coordination of CSD activities
- Ensure compliance with minimum requirements for equipment care, handling and re-processing
- Uphold competency standards for yourself and other technicians in all sterilisation processes
- Adhere to sterilisation standards and relevant legislation affecting practice
- Collaborate with Theatre and CSD staff to ensure time equipment processing

Key Selection Criteria
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, please submit a cover letter and detailed resume outlining how you meet the organisations values and the following key selection criteria:
- Evidence of tertiary qualifications - Certificate IV in Sterilising Services or are a Registered Nurse (AHPRA registered)
- Demonstrated experience in quality improvement activities and comprehensive knowledge of AS/NZS AS4187:2014 and relevant sterilisation requirements
- Extensive experience in cleaning, disinfection, sterilisation of complex medical and surgical instruments and equipment for hospital use, utilising electronic traceability systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of infection control practices
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory capacity, proven communication skills both written and verbal and ability to work well under pressure and be flexible to changing priorities
- High level computer literacy and working knowledge of; RosterOn, TrendCare, Riskman and Microsoft Office applications (desirable)
