Description:
An opportunity exists for a multi talented individual wishing to be able to use a diverse skillset in their employment.
This role includes:
- Taking the lead in the workshop comprising two additional staff members to ensure manufacturing deadlines are met.
- Assembly/modifications of Mobile Shower Commodes,
- Reconfiguration of Manual Wheelchairs,
- Uphostery of Mobile Shower Commode seat and wheelchair accessories,
- Quality checking of completed work,
- Picking and Packing of Parts and Stock,
- Assist with Preparation of freight in and out,
- Unloading containers.
Essentials for the role include:
- Experience in using hand and power tools,
- Supervision or management experience in previous roles,
- Focus on Safety and Quality,
- Self Motivation,
- Willingness to learn,
- Work collaboratively to develop effective working relationships with other departments and demonstrate a commitment to quality standards and continuous improvement.
Highly Desirables for the role include:
- Forklift License,
- Mig/Tig Welding, or desire to learn,
- Ability to sew, or desire to learn,
- CAD software experience highly desirable, or desire to learn.
