About this role
Our client’s Private Business Tax & Advisory (Private Advisory) team is seeking a Senior Associate to join their collaborative and supportive office in Adelaide.
Business leaders face numerous challenges throughout their journey, from managing day-to-day operations and tax compliance to navigating competitive markets and planning exit strategies. Our client’s team is dedicated to delivering a uniquely tailored client experience that is agile, authentic, and deeply personal.
Key responsibilities
- In this role, you’ll thrive in a meritocratic and hands-on environment, taking on a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS, FBT, and payroll tax returns for a diverse range of clients, from SMEs to larger enterprises
- Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with clients
- Advising clients on compliance obligations and providing expert tax and accounting guidance
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members, offering coaching and development support
- You’ll be a dedicated and detail-oriented accounting professional who excels in client-facing roles. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, you’ll approach challenges creatively and deliver practical, innovative solutions.
- A relevant qualification in Business, Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent international qualification
- Completion or progress toward a CA qualification
- Significant experience in business and tax advisory within a professional services environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a commitment to exceeding client expectations
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
