About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team in providing essential support to the Social Work discipline across various sites within CALHN. As part of a dynamic and collaborative environment, you will play a key role in delivering allied health services to our patients and clients, contributing to a holistic and patient-centred approach to care. Under the guidance of the Principal Social Worker, you will assist in coordinating and providing critical social work services, ensuring that patients receive the support they need throughout their healthcare journey.

  • Demonstrated initiative and strong collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
  • Commitment to professional development and the ability to work under the guidance of Allied Health professionals.
  • Sound communication skills with an understanding of working within diverse communities and promoting inclusion.
  • Previous experience in a service environment , with a strong understanding of confidentiality and ethical practice.
