About the Role
The Café Attendant's primary function at all times is ensuring our valued customers’ expectations are being met, and sales and profitability targets are achieved. Café administrative duties are completed accurately and efficiently, and the cleanliness of the cafe is always of a high standard. You will work as part of a team and assist in the efficient operations of our Cape Jervis Café.
A main requirement for this role includes strong interpersonal and organisational skills and effective communication. You need to have a welcoming nature and plenty of smiles for our passengers.
Café Attendants are required to be flexible in their working arrangements with the ability to work weekends & public holidays and ideally live near Cape Jervis. At times you may be required to work across at our Penneshaw Cafe.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Current National Police Clearance - Essential
- Experience in sales and customer service - Essential
- Espresso Coffee Making - Desirable (we can offer training)
- Food Safety Course - Desirable
- Responsible Service of Alcohol - Essential (Penneshaw only)
