The Role
As a Construction Electrician, you will undertake daily tasks to erect thermal energy power generation assets throughout Australia. This role requires a high level of diligence and efficiency.

This is a 2:1 Construction roster , with the point of hire as Perth.

Key Responsibilities:

• General electrical works, assembly, wiring, testing and fault finding on electrical systems
• Completing ITRs (electrical test sheets)
• Working from electrical drawings
• Ensuring you have the correct resources to perform your tasks
• Design reviews and drawings mark-ups
• Supervising junior staff members and apprentices
• Responsible for compliance with HSE policies, ensuring workplace compliance, and reporting hazards and near misses

About You:

• Relevant Electrical Trade qualification
• EWP, Working at Heights, and Fibre Optic cabling highly desirable
• Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex issues.
• Meticulous and vigilant when it comes to ensuring safety in all aspects of tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High Voltage exposure advantageous
• Experience in the renewables industry would be highly regarded
