Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst (Infrastructure/Integration).
This is a long-term contract role from 22 April 2025 to 30 June 2026, with two possible 6-month extensions, located at our client’s offices in ACT, NSW, QLD, SA, and VIC, offering flexible hybrid working arrangements.
As the selected candidate, you will:
  • Define analysis approaches and undertake objective, systematic analysis to draw accurate conclusions based on evidence.
  • Gather and investigate information from various sources, exploring new ideas and viewpoints.
  • Collaborate with different business teams to identify and prioritise business challenges.
  • Play an influential role throughout the implementation lifecycle, including procurement, design, and quality assurance processes.
  • Use strategic thinking to connect activities to overarching policy priorities and the Commission’s goals.
  • Identify, report, and manage risks.
  • Confidently present messages in a clear, concise, and articulate manner.
  • Work within agile frameworks, collaborating with teams to ensure seamless communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Build and sustain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Accurately document requirements, business processes, solution designs, and other documentation, including clear and accurate diagrams.
  • Respond positively and flexibly to change and uncertainty.
To be successful in this role you should have:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst working closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams in complex program environments.
  • Extensive cloud and integration platform experience, with the ability to demonstrate work across analytical roles supporting those implementations.
  • Experience in procurement and requirements gathering in cloud and integration platforms, preferably within government settings.
  • Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience in developing data-driven solutions to inform business strategy and decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, including the ability to facilitate discussions and workshops to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to document clear requirements and other documentation, with clear diagrams.
  • Experience working in complex agile environments, with an ability to adapt to changes in project direction and stakeholder expectations.
Due to security clearance requirements for this role, candidates must be Australian citizens with the ability to obtain Baseline clearance.
