This critical Finance Business Partner role is responsible for providing commercial insight and analysis to the Channel and Brand teams to support delivery of key business objectives. Reporting to the Corporate Performance & Reporting Manager, the main duties and responsibilities in this role will include but not be limited to;
- Partner with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Provide commercial performance insights through month-end reporting and analysis.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to drive performance.
- Develop reporting to provide meaningful drill downs on performance and drivers of KPI’s.
- Provide business and financial support to the operational areas of the business.
- Co-ordinate financial processes driving the short and medium term outlooks via IBP.
- Participate in the development of long-term plans and financial models aimed at improved profit planning and forecasting.
- Provide business and financial support around product and process projects as required.
- Ongoing preparation of commercial evaluations for new product development.
- Other ad hoc duties as per directed.
To be considered for this role, you will be degree qualified in business or accounting with relevant financial management and analysis experience, preferably in a FMCG industry. The right candidate will also have the following:
- CPA/CA accreditation is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Abstract reasoning with strong financial acumen skills.
- Methodical problem solver with high levels of attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work with pace.
- Proficient use of the Microsoft Suite and IT systems (Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint)
- Your effective communication skills will enable you to relate to multiple different stakeholders. Notwithstanding, alignment and fit with our Patties values is essential.
