About the opportunity:
Position: Patient Services Officer
Vacancy: Fixed Term Temporary full-time, 12 months (with the possibility of extension of up to 2 years)
Location: Kirwan Health Campus, Townsville

- Salary range: $2950.00 to $3280.70 p.f. (AO3)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading

Requirements:
- Advanced customer service experience relevant to the public health setting including the demonstration of patience, understanding, confidentiality and a positive approach that includes the ability to deescalate difficult situations will be highly regarded.
- High level written, verbal and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external customers and stakeholders at various levels will be highly regarded.
- Your ability to demonstrate awareness of, and ability to actively and effectively participate in a working environment supporting contemporary human resource practices including workplace health and safety, employment equity and anti-discrimination, ethical behaviour and continuous improvement will be highly regarded.
- Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD): This is a VPD risk role.
