Description:

As a Venue Supervisor you will be responsible for the presentation, maintenance, set-up and pack down requirements of the centre. This role also requires you to be able to coordinate bookings and fixtures, based around the state-of-the-art outdoor pitches at Darebin International Sports Centre and Knox Regional Football Centre.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue during events and bookings.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility.
  • Provide excellent customer service to players, coaches, officials, and spectators.
  • Enforce venue policies, including safety and conduct regulations.
  • Assist with setup and pack-down of events and fixtures.
  • Liaise with referees, teams, and event organisers.
  • Handle any incidents or issues professionally and efficiently.
  • Hospitality Services at Knox Regional Football Centre

What We’re Looking For:

  • Must be available to work weeknights and weekends.
  • Must be able to work at two locations as required.
  • Experience in venue or event supervision (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Basic knowledge of sports operations.
  • Experience in food handling, preparation, and service (preferred).

Essential Requirements

  • Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • Drivers Licence
  • Minimum one-year experience in a similar role
  • High standard of presentation and communication skills
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Self-motivated and an ability to work unsupervised
  • Preparedness to work weekends and non-traditional hours as required
  • Some knowledge of essential building services

Desirable Criteria

  • First Aid Certificate
  • Understanding of football industry practices
