Description:
As a Venue Supervisor you will be responsible for the presentation, maintenance, set-up and pack down requirements of the centre. This role also requires you to be able to coordinate bookings and fixtures, based around the state-of-the-art outdoor pitches at Darebin International Sports Centre and Knox Regional Football Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue during events and bookings.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained facility.
- Provide excellent customer service to players, coaches, officials, and spectators.
- Enforce venue policies, including safety and conduct regulations.
- Assist with setup and pack-down of events and fixtures.
- Liaise with referees, teams, and event organisers.
- Handle any incidents or issues professionally and efficiently.
- Hospitality Services at Knox Regional Football Centre
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be available to work weeknights and weekends.
- Must be able to work at two locations as required.
- Experience in venue or event supervision (preferred but not essential).
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Basic knowledge of sports operations.
- Experience in food handling, preparation, and service (preferred).

Essential Requirements
- Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
- Drivers Licence
- Minimum one-year experience in a similar role
- High standard of presentation and communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation
- Self-motivated and an ability to work unsupervised
- Preparedness to work weekends and non-traditional hours as required
- Some knowledge of essential building services
Desirable Criteria
- First Aid Certificate
- Understanding of football industry practices
