- Salary based on experience, range: $98,902 - $123,624 (pro rata) plus super
- Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH & office model
About the role
In this role, you will play a vital role working closely with the business to offer proactive and responsive analysis, advice, and support on complex financial matters. You will support managers by developing and analysing financial information to ensure the achievement of strategic business goals.
You will also play a key role in the creation of regular reports, such as the annual budget process and quarterly forecasting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to achieve favourable budget results. Additionally, you will offer assistance and guidance to managers in enhancing their financial knowledge and implementing effective finance and reporting practices.
In collaboration with the Financial Accounting team, you will be responsible for offering guidance and assistance to the organisation to enhance compliance with financial policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with Statutory and Accounting Standard mandates.
This role is based at our Melbourne CBD office on Wurundjeri Country.
About you
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Strong conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate and build strong relationships with range of stakeholders effectively.
- Experience in meeting deadlines with precision and accuracy
- A tertiary requirement in business or finance (mandatory)
- Professionally Qualified Accountant (member of CPA Australia or the Institute of Chartered Accountants) (mandatory)
- Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, budgeting and business case development (mandatory)
- Experience with Finance One accounting system (highly desirable)
