Our client is looking for a fulltime Administration Purchasing Officer to help provide assistance in the purchasing process of their business.
They pride themselves on continuing to provide excellent service and support in the area.
NB. This is a 12-month parental leave contract.
About the role:
- Managing the procurement of parts and supplies necessary for their workshop operations while maintaining accurate records.
- Assisting the Branch and Workshop Manager with assigned tasks and administrative support
- Quote, order, and verify parts for vehicle repairs and workshop needs
- Manage invoicing, payments, and insurance paperwork
- Communicate with assessors and suppliers regarding parts and labour
- Handle mail, banking, and stationery orders
About you:
- Must be competent with office software (eg. MS Office Suite) including Word and Excel spreadsheets.
- Actions orientated and a willingness to learn and apply new skills and take on new responsibilities.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Continuous improvement approach.
