About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Advanced WAG certificate qualified Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team coaching WAG levels 5-6 on a casual basis 14-18 hours per week. You will play a vital role in preparing, delivering, and evaluating engaging gymnastics lessons tailored to individual skills and aspirations while promoting a culture of safety, excellence, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver, and evaluate innovative and challenging lesson plans.
• Implement the MLC Gymnastics curriculum and assessment reporting processes.
• Foster positive relationships with gymnasts and their parents/guardians.
• Ensure equipment safety, adherence to injury management protocols, and compliance with emergency procedures.
• Actively participate in coaching meetings and training sessions.
• Maintain up-to-date professional qualifications and industry knowledge.

About You Essential:

• A passion for helping children achieve their potential in gymnastics.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational abilities.
• Advanced WAG coaching qualification or higher
• Applicants with a current intermediate qualification who are in the process of obtaining advanced qualifications may be considered
• Valid Working With Children Check and the right to work in Australia.
• Commitment to the Child Safe Standards and an understanding of Victorian Child Safe Standards.

Desirable:

• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Current anaphylaxis and asthma management certificate
