Exciting opportunity for an AR Officer to join a construction business in a short term temporary role to help clear a backlog and work on BAU work.
- $35-40p/h + super

The Organisation
Our client is a highly reputable and expanding construction business with a national presence, seeking a motivated and skilled Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team on a temporary full time basis for a period of 3 months to help clear a backlog of debtors and contribute to business-as-usual AR work.
The Responsibilities
Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Daily banking and bank reconciliations
- Follow up overdue / outstanding payments - via phone and email
- Generating and issuing client invoices
- Handling collection calls and emails
- Assisting with setting up payment plans
- Managing credit applications
- Performing other ad-hoc accounting tasks
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following skills and experience, though other qualities may also be considered:
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable position
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate within a team environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience working within the construction industry is highly regarded
