About the Role
As Project Manager with the P&C People Experience team, you will review current practices and design communication toolkits, fact sheets, and resources to improve the people experience. You'll ensure these materials are user-friendly, tailored to audience needs, and align with customer service best practices. The Project Manager will oversee the creation of clear, concise content to communicate key policies and updates. By assessing audience needs and gathering feedback, you'll refine materials to improve clarity, engagement, and service delivery for both internal teams and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities of the role will include the following:
• Oversee project planning, documentation, risk management, and implementation.• Ensure governance, compliance, and quality control throughout project delivery.• Maintain clear communication and reporting with stakeholders and senior management.• Develop and implement strategies for monitoring, auditing, and dispute resolution.• Identify risks, initiate mitigation strategies, and recommend solutions.• Establish evaluation criteria and document project progress.• Provide expert advice, reports, and briefings on project performance.• Foster stakeholder engagement and manage consultation processes.• Track project performance, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring alignment with program goals.• Maintain accessible project documentation and monitor budget progress.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
• Demonstrated experience in managing and coordinating multiple and/or complex projects and an understanding of project management methodologies.• Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills• Proven leadership skills that demonstrate the ability to obtain effective cooperation and contribution from stakeholders (intra and inter project collaboration) and ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a range of stakeholders• Proven ability to negotiate and deliver agreed outcomes.• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage financial resources• Experience working within a volunteer environment. • Tertiary qualifications in project management or equivalent (desirable)
