As an Executive Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless operations of the philanthropic venture, providing high-level support to the CEO. You will manage executive communications, coordinate strategic partnerships, and oversee key relationships with donors, government agencies, and community organisations. This role is integral to the organisation’s mission, allowing you to be at the forefront of social impact initiatives. Duties and Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the first point of contact for the CEO, managing calls, emails, and correspondence.
  • Oversee and coordinate the CEO’s schedule, ensuring seamless organisation of meetings and travel.
  • Draft, edit, and manage documents, correspondence, and executive communications.
  • Assist in managing relationships with donors, government agencies, and community organisations.
  • Support event planning, including major philanthropic forums and stakeholder engagements.
  • Coordinate board meetings, prepare reports, and manage logistics such as travel and catering.
  • Provide back-up support for office management, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Assist in securing grant funding and sponsorships, tracking applications, and liaising with funders.
Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate is highly organised, detail-oriented, and diplomatic, with a strong ability to manage high-level executive functions. You thrive in a mission-driven environment, balancing multiple responsibilities while maintaining discretion and professionalism. A background in executive support, philanthropy, non-profit management, or stakeholder engagement would be highly advantageous. You should be proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working with senior leaders and partners in the social impact space.
