About the company: Our client is a top surveying company who has been in operation for over fifty years. Covering local government work, cadastral, rail, infrastructure and building surveys, they operate mainly in Sydney and occasionally throughout NSW. This company has a strong tradition of developing from within and has a strong brand within industry.
About the Role:
Our client is seeking a number of Surveyors to work prestigious large-scale rail infrastructure and construction projects across several locations in Sydney. Work is varied and consists of rail, building construction, earthworks, roads, concrete structures, bridges, kerbs, utilities etc.
Duties:
- Reporting to Survey Manager
- Get involved with design and plans
- Establish control networks
- Conduct daily surveys
- Utilise the latest survey software
- Upload data
- Keep accurate records
- Maintain equipment
About the Requirements:
- Formal Surveying qualifications
- Ideally have 3+ years survey knowledge
- Have a proven background in civil infrastructure surveys (rail is a bonus)
- Be able to work across several project sites
- Proficient with Total Station, Digital levels & GPS equipment
- Experience of using software such as 12D Field & 12D Field
- Be a team player
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Be driven and want to progress your career
