About the opportunity

We are seeking a Program Manager to join the team for an instrumental program of work, where we have created an Agencies Platform Migration Program which is a transformative program of core system migrations across multiple underwriting agency businesses within Steadfast. Program Manager will be the linchpin between individual agencies, Steadfast Group, Steadfast Technologies and multiple platform vendors.

This strategic initiative is key to enabling future efficiency and growth of our business and this role requires strategic vision, exceptional leadership and deep expertise in managing complex technology programs. The Agencies Platform Migration Program Manager will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of this strategic initiative and must ensure that delivered solution(s) support the unique business needs of each agency while setting common best practice, identifying and leveraging opportunities for technical innovation, standardisation and to enable economies of scale.

This opportunity is a 12-month fixed term assignment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the successful delivery of program of migrations across multiple agencies both concurrently and consecutively.
  • Manage and track Program governance through project progress, ensuring milestones, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Manage the risks, issues, and actions for the program and track them to meet expected outcomes and timelines, building mitigation plans as the program evolves.
  • Identify and manage dependencies within the program, proactively addressing potential roadblocks and risks to ensure smooth execution.
  • Work with Business Sponsors to design, recruit and implement a ‘Centre of Excellence’ Agency team that will provide the operational support for the Agencies in scope.
  • Develop and implement change management and communication strategies.

Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrated capability built over 10 years or more leading a complex cross functional program-level migration and service model implementation with c-suite sponsors
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and define a path to resolution.
  • Proven experience with managing Tech Vendors across multiple projects to ensure their deliverables are aligned with the Business plan and expectations.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship building, support and advice experience
  • Effective problem-solving skills to understand, resolve, communicate, and deliver innovative solutions
  • Familiarity with Agile, hybrid and traditional project management and SDLC/delivery techniques
  • Leadership, coaching and mentoring skills
  • Project Management qualifications such as Agile, PMBOK or Prince2
  • Significant end-to-end program and project management experience in IT and/or Fintech organisations.
