NXT GIG is looking for a strategic and results-driven Cybersecurity Manager to lead our cybersecurity initiatives and ensure the protection of our organization's digital infrastructure. In this vital role, you will oversee our cybersecurity program, including risk management, threat detection, incident response, and the implementation of security policies and procedures. You will collaborate with various departments to foster a culture of security awareness and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a proven track record in managing cybersecurity teams and projects. Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor the cybersecurity team to enhance their skills and ensure effective execution of security initiatives.
  • Assess and mitigate risks through regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
  • Oversee incident response efforts, coordinating activities during and after security breaches.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices in cybersecurity.
  • Foster a culture of security awareness through training programs and communication across the organization.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on cybersecurity status, incidents, and risk management activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Manager or in a similar leadership role within the cybersecurity domain.
  • Strong understanding of security practices, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with risk assessment methodologies and incident response planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar) are strongly recommended.
