Rate : Circa $90 per hour + Super
About the Role
In this role, you will provide critical support to the Project Manager in delivering the Flood Resilience Program by ensuring strategic alignment with infrastructure resilience goals. Your expertise in project coordination, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement, and policy development will be key to the program’s success.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of program activities, including strategic planning, risk management, and governance.
- Monitor project budgets, expenditure, and cash flow, preparing financial reports and variance analysis.
- Lead stakeholder engagement and communication efforts across government agencies, ensuring effective coordination.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure program services align with their needs.
- Prepare Ministerial reports, responses, and briefing materials on infrastructure planning and asset management.
- Conduct research and analysis, providing strategic advice and submissions.
- Assist in procurement processes, including engagement of technical consultants.
- Support the development, implementation, and review of policies and procedures to enhance infrastructure resilience.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to oversee master planning and options analysis for infrastructure investment.
- Demonstrates strong governance and risk management capabilities.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Proactive problem-solver with a solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong relationship-builder, able to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience in communications and engagement activities related to infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with Department of Education Content Manager and SAP (highly regarded).
Formal qualifications in one or more of the following fields are highly desirable:
- Project Management
- Architecture, Town Planning, or a related technical discipline
