About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager for a 6–12-month contract to lead and manage construction and installation projects within our Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) program. This role is pivotal in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet both quality standards and customer expectations. As a leader, you will provide direction, mentoring, and guidance to the project delivery teams while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and quality requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets, schedules, contracts, and quality controls, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to margins.
- Oversee risk management, handle variations, disputes, and claims, and ensure safety on-site.
- Lead project planning, forecasting, and reporting while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Supervise and develop teams, driving continuous improvement and performance while complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Resolve disputes and claims promptly and professionally.
- Certificate IV in Building & Construction / Project Management or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- White Card and a valid driver’s license.
- First Aid Certificate (company-sponsored).
- Ability to meet state-based licensing/check requirements (e.g., Working with Children Check – VIC).
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, contract administration, and technical documentation.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and client management skills.
- Strong commercial acumen and risk management abilities.
- Experience in managing multiple projects with varying complexities.
- Ability to drive performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of the modular building and residential industry.
- Prior experience working with large EPCs, EPCMs, or major resource companies.
- A state-based builder’s license
