How will I Help?

We have a fantastic opportunity for Operations Management Advisor within Westpac Group Operations (GO). You will support the end-to-end adoption of Active Operation Management methodologies, disciplines, and operating rhythms to enable the business to deliver on their strategic goals.

This role will be responsible for leading and managing initiatives to enable Group Operations to optimise the Workforce. Key to this is understanding and effectively integrating capability changes within the team thus ensuring alignment across the end-to-end planning process for all GO Business Units.

You will be responsible for delivering both individual and group training to ensure overall business understanding of Operational Management. Provide ongoing coaching and consulting on inconsistencies across all GO Business Units. Conduct regular formal AOM Capability Assessments (ACA) of Leaders/Business Units. Meet monthly with Partner Operations Managers to discuss WFM performance analytics and insights highlighting improvement opportunities. Have independent oversight of Workforce management system inputs and governance to ensures a "one way same way" approach to the collection of data

What do I need?

  • Experience working within complexity and ambiguity, in a large complex environment.
  • Experience working as a leader, or in an advisory or workplace consultant role
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly proficient with both verbal and written communication.
  • Confidence in challenging key stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Ability to provide thought leadership across several matters.
  • Experience in critical role/capability identification, environmental scanning, gap analysis, risk analysis and action planning.
  • Ability to drive performance supported by data analytics and insights.
  • Manage performance and resources efficiently and effectively.
  • Experience in Strategic Workforce Planning is also desirable
