Job Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Planning Superintendent, the Senior Maintenance Planner will be a highly detail oriented individual. This role is responsible for developing both short and long term maintenance plans, maximizing operation profit, equipment reliability and availability and collaboration with supervisors and area coordinators.

About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing both short and long-term maintenance plans on new and existing assets.

  • Maximising operating profit, equipment reliability and availability through planned maintenance.

  • Collaborating with supervisors and area coordinators to maintain compliance and GCAA Asset Management Framework.

  • Administering computer-based site maintenance system (SAP) to enable safe and reliable coal production.

  • Using SAP to raise work orders with clear and concise written job instructions.

Roster and Location

  • Monday - Friday Roster

  • HVO North, off Lemington Road


About You:

  • Previous experience with SAP

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office

  • Formal trade qualification in Electrical, Mechanical or Engineering.

  • Knowledge of FMECA, cost management and budgeting.

  • A proven ability to interpret engineering drawings, OEM manuals and standards is crucial.

  • High level of efficiency, resourcefulness, and personal organisation.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.

  • Promoting and maintaining a high level of positive safety performance and workplace culture through teamwork, personal commitment, and application of the company values.

  • Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.

  • Ability to liaise with key internal and external stakeholders.
