Salary: $88,216 to $101,448 per annum + 11.5% superannuation

Purpose:
Our Community Development team is seeking a Grants Officer. This role is vital in building capacity and establishing connections with individuals and groups from the community who apply for and receive grants and fee support through Council’s Community Investment Program. This role will administer and report on the Community Investment Program and provide end-to-end support for community stakeholders.
About the role:
- Develop and maintain relationships with organisations and individuals funded through Councils Community Investment Program and other potential organisations and individuals
- Coordinate all aspects of grant application lifecycle including the competitive award process, data collation, reporting and acquittal processes
- Effectively communicate grant administration policy and process to internal and external stakeholders, and run information sessions for each round of the Community Investment Program
- Provide end-to-end support and follow-up for grant applicants throughout the grant lifecycle in line with policies and procedures
About you:
- Experience managing grant programs
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating complex policy and process to concise information for diverse stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated experience providing excellent customer service and the ability to maintain relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
