More about this role:


As the Home Site Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional support to our clients with both physical and psycho-social disabilities. As a dynamic leader, you will guide and inspire a dedicated team to deliver person-centered care within our Home service. Your responsibilities will include overseeing daily operations, coordinating individualised care plans, and fostering a collaborative environment that empowers both team members and our much loved clients.


This role involves strong admin and reporting skills and also the support worker experience to support the clients and staff of your team. You will have a large team of 20 support workers that work and are rostered to multiple SIL homes in Cannonvale area. This is a great opportunity to dip toes in the water for career progression into management level.


Duties will include:



  • Supporting the financial performance of the Home service site through effective management of operating expenditure in line with budget.
  • Ensuring team member awareness of each individual requirements.
  • Providing support that aligned to the person’s plans, goals and any other requirements, including but not limited to all aspects of personal hygiene and living skills to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment is provided.
  • Delivering and encouraging others in the accurate documentation of all activities to ensure an accurate audit trail and maintenance of progress notes.

What you can bring to the team:



  • Qualifications in Certificate III in Disability and/or Certificate III in Individual Support
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.
  • Experience in the Disability sector, with complex behaviours and mental health challenges is essential to be considered for this role and relevant qualifications in this field will be highly regarded.
  • Experience supervising site operations and delivering services aligned with organisational policies and procedures.
  • Proven interpersonal and communication skills and ability to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Problem solving skills, to successfully identify problems, develop solutions and implement these using a logical and systematic approach.
