We now have an exciting opportunity for a L & D Instructional Designer – Onboarding Program Specialist to join our People Safety and Culture team in Sydney on a 6 month fixed term contract.
As part of the Leadership and Capability team, you will support the design, build and implement engaging onboarding solutions that integrate Workday and other APA systems, ensuring new employees are set up for success from pre-onboarding through to their first 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate on the design, build and implementation of an engaging, structured onboarding process, from pre-boarding to the completion of the first 6 months

Implement the Onboarding journey through Workday to drive the overall employee experience and ensure a seamless integration between Workday processes and company-specific procedures and resources

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to obtain relevant information to develop the Onboarding solutions

Provide training and resources for internal trainers, managers, and HR teams to effectively support new hires during the onboarding process

Manage and track the instructional design projects from concept to implementation, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met

Design feedback and measurement mechanisms to enable the collation and analysis of feedback from new hires and stakeholders to evaluate the effectiveness of the onboarding solutions
Your background:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organisation Development or a related field

Experience designing and delivering onboarding programs, with a focus on integrating systems like Workday into the process

Hands-on experience with Workday, specifically HCM and Learning modules and the ability to incorporate it into an effective onboarding experience

Proven experience in developing both online and instructor-led training, with a strong understanding of blended learning techniques
