How will I help?
We are looking for a Portfolio Manager who will act as a liaison between staff, executives, senior leaders, and the Group Executive, regarding data platforms strategic initiatives, project updates, proposals, planning and employee well-being.
We are seeking an exceptional candidate with a robust background in the technology domain and a proven track record in strategic and/or business performance roles. The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, practical experience in delivering organizational projects, and the ability to drive successful outcomes.
This is a full-time position based in Sydney, requiring attendance at the office twice a week.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Ensure the successful delivery of the Data Platforms strategy through an effective strategic plan that includes financials, risk management, projects (change), people and operating model components.
- Recommend corrective action plans and provides in-depth expertise for required adjustments and improvements. Collaborate with Finance, Human Resources, Corporate Communications (Internal and External), Risk and other Group Technology divisions to progress the strategic plan.
- Support daily operations of the division through collaboration with senior management and leaders, performing an array of tasks from generating correspondence, maintaining electronic files, planning and coordinating regular rhythm of governance meetings and committees.
- Build and develop relationships with employees for increased efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations and help to define new operational strategies working with the General Manager of Data Platforms and leaders on special projects.
- Develop regular executive level reporting to ensure appropriate governance and escalation of management information and issues.

What do I need?
- Previous technology domain experience.
- Proven track record in strategic and/or business performance role at a similar level.
- Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.
- Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Experience with financial management.
- Extensive stakeholder management experience.
- Experience working together and collaborating with other divisional leaders and business stakeholders.
- Strategic and innovative thinking.
- A change agent with proven ability to lead change.
- Supplier management (offshoring and outsourcing).
- Demonstrable knowledge of technology, data, and risk processes including applicable frameworks.
- Tertiary level qualifications, relevant post-graduate study preferred.
