We are looking for a highly organised, adaptable, and personable receptionist / administrative support team member to join our growing practice.
This is a part-time position, minimum 3 days per week in alignment with the opening hours of the practice, with the potential for increased hours as the role evolves. We will appoint the right candidate based on the specific needs of the practice.
About the Role
As a receptionist / administrative support member, your role will be vital in supporting our practice’s smooth operation and high level of service. Your responsibilities will include:
• Welcoming and greeting clients in a warm, professional manner
• Responding to phone calls, emails, and enquiries promptly and courteously
• Managing appointment bookings, scheduling, and timetabling
• Overseeing medical records across digital and non-digital platforms
• Handling payment processing and account reconciliation
• Supporting marketing and social media initiatives
• Monitoring practice equipment, stock, stationery, and consumables
• Maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and the general upkeep of the practice facilities
Skills & Experience Required
• A professional, team-oriented approach with a positive attitude
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to demonstrate empathy
• Exceptional organisational skills, time management, and proactive planning
• Capacity to learn quickly, adapt to new systems, and solve problems effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to give and
receive constructive feedback
• Proficiency in using digital and non-digital platforms, including web-based tools
and Apple devices
• Strong attention to privacy and confidentiality
• Well-groomed, with a professional appearance and attire
• Previous experience in a reception or administrative role is highly desirable but
not essential if you have transferable skills and a strong desire to learn
