What you'll be doing
This Position of Pathology Patient Service Manager involves managerial responsibility for all areas of pathology logistics including reception and collection areas. The Pathology Patient Services Manager Is accountable for all service quality and staff factors which ensure the efficient operation of the Department of Pathology.
- Experience in leadership, management, and training of staff.
- Experience of interacting with patients and their relatives.
- Ability to identify system problems and delegate responsibility.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients.
- Qualification and experience in paediatric nursing.
- Experience in collection of blood and other pathology specimens and knowledge of pathology tests.
- Project management skills and experience with Cerner Pathnet and Power chart.
- Knowledge of medical and scientific English.
