Job SummaryWe are on the hunt for an exceptionally talented Founding Engineer skilled in mobile development with React Native to join our startup's pioneering team. As a full-time member working remotely in Canada, you will play a critical role in crafting innovative mobile applications and shaping the technological backbone of our company.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead the mobile development process, implementing and optimizing React Native applications.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.Identify and correct bottlenecks, fixing bugs and improving application performance.Drive innovation by staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.Mentor and guide junior developers within the team.Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Required Skills and QualificationsExpertise in React Native and mobile development.Strong written and verbal communication skills, reflecting a meticulous attention to detail.Proven experience in leading mobile development projects.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.A track record of successful project delivery and optimization.Experience with agile development methodologies.Eligibility to work remotely within Canada.
Preferred QualificationsFamiliarity with Swift, React, and Node.js.Understanding of Python, data science, and large language models (LLM).Extreme seniority with a strategic mindset and entrepreneurial spirit.
